RULE 9300: WESTERN REINING PATTERNS

IHSA POLICY CONCERNING ABUSE, HARASSMENT AND SEXUAL MISCONDUCT

The Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) stands against abuse, harassment and sexual misconduct of any kind. An act of sexual misconduct represents a failure to recognize and to respect the fundamental worth and dignity of another. All forms of sexual or gender-based harassment, discrimination or misconduct are prohibited by members of the IHSA and all allegations or complaints of these behaviors are taken seriously.

All IHSA coaches are required to verify U.S. Center for SafeSport training or equivalent education provided by their respective schools. IHSA members and nonmembers are encouraged to report cases of abuse, harassment and sexual misconduct to the U.S. Center for SafeSport.

Make a report electronically to the U.S. Center for SafeSport or call (720) 531-0340, if you have a reasonable suspicion of sexual misconduct such as child sex abuse, non-consensual sexual conduct, sexual harassment or intimate relationships involving an imbalance of power.
